I. Geological Hazard and Engineering Survey
Our team successively undertook the geological hazard survey and zoning projects in Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province and Shizhong District, Neijiang City as well as in Fuhai County and Jimunai County, Xinjiang, and the project results were highly praised by the employers and the competent administrative departments.
Our team successively undertook the survey of geological hazard, hydrogeology and construction land for Wudongde Hydropower Station; the survey, design and control of ravine landslide and debris flow for Tibet Bayi Town Power Plant; research and control of very long debris flow and geological hazard survey and control in Hanyuan County, Sichuan Province; reinforced retaining wall project for Huaxian Road in Xincheng, Wushan County, Chongqing Municipality; design and control of Zigong Xishan Park landslide project, Chongqing Shenmingba landslide control project, the design and control of dangerous rock engineering in Bianzhaizi, Wuqiao Town and in Weiyuan Coal Mine as well as the geological hazard survey and planning in Jimunai County and Fuhai County, Xinjiang and in Jiajiang County, Sichuan Province, and the geological hazard survey of Boer Bosong Boarding School of Nileke County and Qiapuhe Animal Husbandry School of Xinyuan County in Xinjiang.
Our team successively undertook the geological hazard risk assessment of construction land for VIP building restaurant of Huanglong National Scenic Spot Administration, geological hazard risk assessment of construction land for Tongzilin Hydropower Station on Yalong River, Sichuan Province, geological hazard risk assessment of urban construction land for Mingjingtan Sewage Treatment Plant, Zhongmingba Sewage Treatment Plant, Urban Sewage Treatment Plant and Tuokou in Wanzhou District, Chongqing Municipality, geological hazard risk assessment of construction land for Xuanhan Methanol Plant, geological hazard risk assessment of construction land for Baoxing Hydropower Station in Baoxing River basin cascade development project of China Huaneng Group Sichuan Branch, Ganyanggou Xiaogoutou Hydropower Station, Heminzhi Hydropower Station and Hexi New Area as well as geological hazard risk assessment of construction land for the yard project of Hong’an Dangerous Chemical Arrival and Department Station in Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, etc.
Our team successively undertook the geological survey work of proposed site for such construction projects as Yingshuiping Sewage Treatment Plant of Wanzhou District, Chongqing Municipality, Shenmingba Sewage Treatment Plant, Mingjingtan Sewage Treatment Plant, Wuqiao cross-river water supply pipeline, Line A2, West Line A3, East Line A4 and Lines B2 and B3 of urban drainage pipe project in Wanzhou District well as pipe jacking section of Lines B1 and B2, Beishan Lift Pump Station, Hebei Lift Pump Station, Hongguang Lift Pump Station, Wanhu Village High Pool in the water supply project for Wan’an Industrial Demonstration Zone of Wanzhou District and main water supply pipeline for Shalong Road, etc.
II. Survey and Evaluation of Mineral Resources below Construction Projects
The regional geological survey team is one of the professional geological survey teams which first started the survey and evaluation work on mineral resources below construction projects in Sichuan Province. By the end of 2010, the whole team totally completed more than ten survey and evaluation projects on mineral resources below construction projects, mainly involving the water conservancy, hydropower, expressway, highway reconstruction and expansion, railway, high-voltage power transmission line and new cement construction projects. The representative projects include: the evaluation of mineral resources in the occupied area and reservoir inundation area of Pingtou Hydropower Station project on Meigu River, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the survey and evaluation of mineral resources below construction project of highway from the southern area of regional cooperation in the Pan-Pearl River Delta to Bazhong, the survey of mineral resources below construction project of highway from Luzhou to Chishui in the expressway network of Sichuan Province, the survey and evaluation of mineral resources below reconstruction project of highway from Dongeluo to Haizishan in No.318 National Road, the survey of mineral resources below reconstruction project of highway from Chuanzhusi to Wenchuan in No.G213 National Road, the survey of mineral resources below construction land of 2005t/d new dry cement project of Sichuan Xingchuancheng Cement Co., Ltd. as well as the survey of mineral resources below construction land of Chengdu Railway Container Center Station.
The team has carried out feasibility studies on restoration and control of mine geological environment from 2006. At present, the main projects completed include: Feasibility Study on Restoration and Control of Geological Environment in Muscovite Mining Area, Danba County, Sichuan Province; Feasibility Study on Geological Environment Control Project of Hongshan Iron Mine of Sichuan Nanjiang Iron Mine Metallurgical and Mining Co., Ltd.; Feasibility Study Report on Geological Environment Control Project of Gangue Dump of Nanjiang Coal Power Co., Ltd. (Nanjiang Coal Mine) and other feasibility study projects on restoration and control of mine geological environment.
IV. Geological Environment Impact Assessment of Construction Projects
Model geological environment impact assessment of construction projects completed by the Regional Geological Survey Team: The Impact Assessment of Huanglong National Scenic Reserve Xueshanliang Tunnel Project on Water Cycle System of Huanglong Core Scenic Area, the purpose of which is to assess the impact of the proposed tunnel project on the water cycle system of Huanglong core scenic area, and the safety and other issues of the landscape.
V. Water Supply Survey
The team has actively participated in water exploration and well drilling engineering in hilly areas of red beds of Sichuan Province according to the requirements and deployment of the provincial government and the Sichuan Geology and Mineral Bureau, and successively completed the drilling construction of a cumulative number of 5,422 wells in Xingwen County, Yibin City, Mingshan County, Ya'an City, Yucheng District, Ya'an City, and Wutongqiao District, Leshan City. All the completed rural potable water wells have passed the inspection and acceptance organized by local people's government and the Land and Resources Department of Sichuan Province, with qualified rate of 100%, receiving widespread praise from the local government and the public.
VI. Agricultural Geological Survey
The agricultural geological survey project undertaken by the Regional Geological Survey Team is part of the "Golden Land Project" of Sichuan Province, which is a basic geological survey in nature managed by the Land and Resources Department of Sichuan Province. The agricultural geological survey project of the land consolidation area undertaken by the Regional Geological Survey Team mainly include the following contents: the agricultural geological survey of the land consolidation area in Liyuan Village, Yong'an Town, Shuangliu County, Chengdu City, and the agricultural geological survey of the land consolidation area in Fuxi Town and Xinping Township, Emeishan City, Leshan City.
VII. Geothermal Exploration
The main geothermal exploration projects completed by the Regional Geological Survey Team include: Batang Chaluo Geothermal Landscape Resources Survey; Feasibility Study on Assessment and Development of Geothermal Resources in Daocheng County; Geothermal Resources Survey in Shengmu Township, Daocheng County; Daocheng Gongling Geothermal Resources Survey; and Geothermal Resources Survey in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County.
