In geochemical sample tests, according to geological test technology development and the actual conditions of test center, I am responsible for defining proper affiliated solutions of test methods, which initially include atomic absorption, atomic fluorescence, oscillographic polarography, emission spectrometry, chemical spectrometry, later added with graphite furnace atomic absorption and inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. These solutions meet the requirements of large-scale national geological survey and ensure the work efficiency, helping our laboratory become the fixed test unit for survey sample testing of Sichuan Geological Survey Institute in 2003. Following 2008, China Geological Survey Bureau has executed the examination and the capability evaluation on 1/50000 geochemical samples test responsible units. Our laboratory successfully passed the examination on 1/50000 geochemical survey analysis task responsible units and the capability evaluation organized by China Geological Survey Bureau Chengdu Geological Survey Center respectively in 2008 and 2010. Since 2003 I have presided over the sample tests for the hundreds scrolls and more than 160,000 sample tests for 1/50000 geochemical surveys, and the projects mainly include: Tibet Riwoqê County Jiasangka copper ore survey, Hongya-Jinyang polymetallic ore evaluation, Dam-Dam Surface region mineral prospective survey, Sichuan Shuoqu-Mogetong region mineral prospective survey, Sichuan Puerdi-Yanyuan Model Village region mineral prospective survey, Sichuan Daocheng-Ridan region strategic mineral prospective survey, Sichuan Zhongzan-Derong region copper polymetallic mineral exploration, Tibet Anzhang region geology and mineral resources survey, Sichuan Nanjiang region mineral prospective study and geochemical survey, Sichuan Shuiluo-Kerr region mineral prospective study and geochemical survey, Sichuan Kasi-Eya mineral prospective study and geochemical survey, Southwest Sanjiang Metallogenic Belt south section key mineral target zoning optimization and potentials survey. Among them, the sample tests for 1/50000 geochemical survey completed after 2008 all have successfully passed the inspections by China Geological Survey Quality Monitor Station and quality level were credited as good. The completion of 1/50000 geochemical survey sample test tasks, delivers basic data for national geological survey, and helps our test center attain good reputation in Sichuan geological mining industry. Now our center is deemed as the backbone of geochemical exploration sample test units, and becomes the laboratory that undertakes biggest number of sample test assignments of national 1/50000 geochemical surveys among Sichuan geological mining laboratories.
