This Comrade accumulated the experiences of more than 30 years in geological work. He ever presided over great many regional geological survey and mineral exploration projects, enjoying abundant geological sci-tech achievements. He successively chaired and completed nationwide 1:50000 Xiasai, Cuopu Temple, Hongxingyan and 1:250000 Shiqu county, Changsha Gongma region geological survey projects, approved as excellent and good results by Sichuan Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources Southwest Project Office’s inspection and acceptance. Over the past decade, he ever chaired and took charge of the mineral exploration work for hundreds of metallic and non-metallic construction material mining projects in Western Sichuan Plateau, Tibet, Qinghai and other places. He has discovered a batch of national and local significant ore-fields, boosting the development of our national economic development. And he has cultivated a group of young technical talents for our unit.

  

Meanwhile, in 1996 he found one rare gem ore - axinite deposit (firstly discovered in China) within Western Sichuan Yidun region; in 1996, found Baiyu County Lianlong medium-scale tin-silver polymetallic deposit, now reaching large and medium-scale by national investment and survey; in 1997, firstly discovered a new tourism zone nearby Cuopu Temple----Cuopu Sea, which has been successfully developed; in 2003, firstly discovered Ximaliduo Fault Zone in Qinghai Dari County Sangrima region, which pertains to Daofu-Luhuo Fault westnorth section’s main structure zone, significantly contributing to the regional tectonic study.

He successively published more than 10 academic papers about stratigraphic paleontology, lithofacies palaeogeography, structural geology, mineral geology, tourism geology and other topics in several national and provincial academic journals including Geology of China, Regional Geology of China, Journal of Sichuan Geology, Sedimentary and Tethys Geology. Among them, one paper was awarded the second prize in the evaluation of Sichuan Geological Society essay collection during 1998 and 2002, and two papers were selected and compiled into National Significant Geological Sci-tech Essay Collection During the Ninth Five-year Period in 2000, reporting to National Geological Sci- tech Conference for communication in Beijing.
